During a quarter-century of outspoken advocacy for single-payer health system reform, Dr. Jarvis has published two books (The Purple World: Healing the Harm in American Health Care and For the Hurt of My People: Original Conservatism and Better, Simpler Health Care) and produced a documentary (Healing US which can be viewed at healingusnetwork.com). Currently, he chairs the board of directors for Common Sense Health Care for Utah, a non-profit organizing to place single-payer health system reform on the Utah ballot in 2026.
