Students for a National Health Program (SNaHP) is currently seeking co-chairs for its four National Leadership Teams for the 2017-2018 academic year. Please contact Emily Henkels at email@example.com with any questions.
Students for a National Health Program (SNaHP) is the student arm of Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP). SNaHP is governed by the PNHP mission and bylaws. Leadership in SNaHP is comprised of the PNHP student board representatives plus the Chairs of the four National Leadership Teams. Descriptions of the SNaHP Leadership Teams can be found here.
The Chairs of each Leadership Team facilitate the projects and regular planning calls of the team. They also serve on the Planning Committee for the annual SNaHP Summit. The Chairs are expected to attend conference calls approximately every other month with the SNaHP board to report on the status of team projects, as well as regular planning calls for the 4-5 months leading up to the annual SNaHP Summit (usually in March). Time commitment ebbs and flows throughout the academic year, but all team Chairs should expect to commit approximately one hour per week to the role.
All current health professional students and pre-medical students are eligible for the SNaHP Leadership Teams. Students of color, women, LGBTQ students, and students of diverse class backgrounds are particularly encouraged to apply.
Please fill out one of the following application forms. Applicants will be considered immediately, and positions are open until filled.
