Student event at UC Irvine School of Medicine
Last week, medical students from all over California came to Tamkin Hall at the UC Irvine School of Medicine to hear Dr. Sherif Emil speak about our broken health care system and how it affects all of our health professionals. This was the first annual UCI-USC co-sponsored Universal Health Care Conference held at UC Irvine School of Medicine. The event was very successful, educational and fun. We had 118 students from UC San Diego, UCLA, USC, UC Irvine, Western Osteopathic School of Medicine, and San Diego State University. Dr. Emil gave an amazing talk about how our current system is making medicine more difficult and conflicting for doctors to practice. Check out some of the pictures from the event here.
